GU17 Applying for Gold bracket, Coach Martin Lippens (former So Cal Blues coach and GU16 Premier Bracket winner) and Assistant Coach Phil Pluta 714-290-6888, looking for four or five players, ideally two attacking players, a strong midfielder, a speedy defender and part time goalie for an outstanding team. In 2007 we beat 3rd place Gold team 2-0 in League Cup round of 32, then tied 4th place Gold team 0-0 in League Cup Sweet 16 before losing in penalty kicks. Team is requesting Gold placement next year as we should have finished just two points out of 1st place in Silver Elite South(with forfeit that affected standings we actually beat Corona 3-0) and had least goals against in bracket. Also of note is we gave up zero goals in League Cup regulation time, We play an attractive brand of skill based, possesion soccer, we are very strong in player development. Coach Martin Lippens is probably the best coach in this age group. His former So Cal Blues team won Silver Elite, promoted to Gold then Premier and in first year as Premier team won the bracket. Coach Lippens will make you a better player. Our three mosted wanted players would be a strong midfielder and two forwards that are finishers.
